The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the straight involving Batchelors Walk, ridden by P. Townend, placed second and Dai Bando, ridden by Andrew J.McNamara, placed first. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the judge's placings and took no further action.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Orgilgo Bay, trained by John C. McConnell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Miss R. Blackmore, rider of Diamond Dame, trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount accidentally clipped heals in the closing stages.

P.T. Enright, rider of Manuka trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

R. Loughran, rider of De Glebe Star trained by Ms. Frances Slevin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped poorly during the first half of the race.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Manuka, trained by A.J.Martin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards fined Aengus King, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Capture The Drama, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.
